Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Sydney is the deepest by a distance — it's where KIKII started and where most of our venue coverage sits — with Melbourne and Brisbane growing. Adelaide and Perth are on the way.
Venues that are either explicitly LGBTQIA+ venues or reliably queer-friendly rooms that host queer nights, drag or community events. We'd rather list a straight-owned pub that genuinely programmes for the community than pad the list with places that just tolerate you.
They're the hours the venue publishes, and we re-check them as venues update. Nightlife hours move around — public holidays, private events, seasonal changes — so for a special trip it's still worth a look at the venue's own page or socials, both linked from every KIKII venue page.
