EC Venue
EC Venue is an event space located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The venue hosts a variety of events, including 'Just Dance Block Party' nights that feature giant-screen dance battles and throwback anthems, creating an atmosphere that merges a sleepover with a nightclub. It also hosts community events like Sapphic Proms with social dancing and drag performances. The space is designed to encourage movement and interaction, moving away from typical sticky club floors. Attendees can expect an open cash bar during event nights and an inclusive environment where dance experience isn't necessary, only commitment to the event's spirit. The crowd is diverse, ranging from those who are secretly adept at dancing to those just there for the social atmosphere and drinks. The dress code is generally comfortable, with options for dramatic or glow-in-the-dark attire to enhance the party experience.
