KIKII was born from the frustration of trying to figure out what's actually on this weekend — endless scrolling, half-dead event pages, and great nights you only hear about after they've happened. Started in Surry Hills by DJ Marco Mani, who wanted a better way to get the word out about events, KIKII is community-led at its core, with a focus on the artists, DJs and promoters who keep the scene alive. Made by someone in the booth, for the people on the floor.
What's a kiki?
In LGBTI+ lingo, a "kiki" is a party — a gathering of friends, full of laughter, music, gossip and joy. We named the platform KIKII because that's exactly the energy we want to capture: the best kikis, the most unforgettable parties, and the people who make them happen.
