Francesca's Bar
Perched right on High Street in Northcote, Francesca's Bar handles the shift from neighbourhood drink to full-blown party without breaking a sweat. It starts off civilized enough with woodfired pizzas from Pizza e Vino, burgers and a tidy back bar, but once the night stretches out, the tables clear and things head straight toward the dancefloor. The music leans into punchy house, pop rhythms and anthems, drawing an easy mix of northside locals and a rowdier queer contingent when parties like Fanny Paq take over the room. If you are looking to catch a few cocktails before it gets properly packed… get in before the late crowd takes over the floor.
