Friyay is returning with a throwback to one of their original themes: Flannys at Fannys! Patrons are encouraged to wear their favourite flannel shirts and get ready to strut. Northside’s longest-running lesbian queer party will feature hot DJs and even hotter performances. The lineup is set to be announced soon. Attendees are encouraged to clear their calendars, hydrate, and prepare for a fabulous night on the dancefloor. Francesca's Bar in Northcote is the venue, and it is strictly an 18+ event, so valid ID is required for entry. Getting there via the 86 tram is recommended. While there are unisex toilets, the venue is an old building and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Fanny Paq is organised by queers for queers and respectful allies. The event maintains a zero-tolerance policy for racism, ableism, sexism, trans/bi/homophobia, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and any anti-social behaviour. Consent is paramount and staff, security, or the organiser, KB, are available for support. This event acknowledges it is held on stolen land and pays respects to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and their Elders past, present, and emerging, noting that sovereignty was never ceded.
