Devoted to Disco
Devoted to Disco is an event series in Sydney dedicated to celebrating the golden era of disco. It was created by London-born, Sydney-based recording artist and singer, Clio. The events aim to provide a space to enjoy 70s and 80s disco classics, promoting an atmosphere of inclusivity and fun on the dance floor. The series features DJs playing disco favourites and has included live performances, bringing the spirit of the disco era to Sydney. Participants are encouraged to express themselves through their attire, with sequins and sparkles often seen. These events are designed to be an inclusive space, fostering diversity and welcoming all attendees. They maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, focusing on creating a positive and safe environment for everyone to enjoy the music and dance.
