Devoted to Disco is a celebration of life, love, and the golden era of disco, bringing together a friendly crowd, iconic 70s and 80s disco anthems, and fabulous performances. It aims to create a joyful, welcoming, and heartfelt dance floor experience. Founded by London-born, Sydney-based recording artist and disco diva Clio, Devoted to Disco was created to connect people through timeless disco music. This event, "STUDIO 44", is a special birthday celebration for Clio, inspired by the glamour and energy of Studio 54. This August, the event will feature a bigger space, enhanced sound system, and more sparkle. For the first time, Motown will be included alongside disco classics. Expect disco anthems, Motown magic, glitter, glamour, and a room full of dancers. There will be dazzling drag performances throughout the event, with Clio herself performing live. The event will take place on Saturday 15 August at Universal Superclub in Darlinghurst from 5 PM to 9 PM, promising an unforgettable night of disco and dancing. Devoted to Disco fosters a diverse and inclusive space with zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism, or violence. Attendees are encouraged to express themselves with 70s glam, Studio 54-inspired looks, sequins, sparkle, vintage flair, and bold disco energy. This is an 18+ event due to the licensed venue.
