Be Our Jest
Musical theatre is serious business, but this night at Ginger's isn't. "Be Our Jest" is Big Gay Piano Bar’s community showcase dedicated to genuinely funny songs from musical theatre, song cycles, and cabaret. Attendees can expect outrageous character numbers, razor-sharp comedy songs, ridiculous patter, biting satire, and musical theatre deep cuts. The event features performances that focus on impeccable comic timing and songs that refuse to take themselves too seriously. Join John Milligan at the piano for a night celebrating the sillier side of musical theatre. The event mixes community showcase performances with spontaneous Big Gay Piano Bar fun. Performers are selected via video submission of inherently funny material. Come along to support friends, discover hilarious performers, grab a drink, and enjoy a night of entertainment. Doors open at 6pm, with the show commencing at 7pm.
