This whole thing pivots around Sunday night, which is absolutely stacked, but there’s plenty to get you warmed up before then.
You’ve got options from high-energy superclubs to intimate dancefloors, with a few spots to belt out a show tune if that’s more your speed. Just pick your poison, pace yourself, and don’t be afraid to take a few liberties with the truth come Tuesday morning.
Kick-off the right way
Friday night is where it all begins, and you’ve got a couple of big ones vying for your attention. The 
Thick 'N' Juicy (opens in a new tab) lot are back at 
ARQ Nightclub (opens in a new tab) with their October Long Weekend special, which is exactly what you’d expect: pumping beats, a huge crowd, and access to Sauna X. It kicks off at 9PM and runs through to 4AM, so strap in.
But if you're looking for something a bit different, or maybe a room with a bit more… space to move, 
Sundaylicious (opens in a new tab) is making its Sydney debut at 
Universal Nightclub (opens in a new tab). This is a Melbourne institution that’s been going for 15 years, so they know what they’re doing. And it's on Friday night for this long weekend, which is a bit of a curveball, but it means you get to experience it before the Sunday madness really hits. Or, if you’re not in the mood for the big clubs, 
Big Gay Piano Bar (opens in a new tab) is at 
Ginger's at Oxford Hotel (opens in a new tab) from 6:30PM – an earlier start but a guaranteed good time with John Milligan on the keys.
Saturday, obviously
Saturday is usually the big one for a normal weekend, but this time around, it's almost a warm-up act for Sunday. That doesn't mean it's quiet though. 
I Remember House (opens in a new tab) is taking over 
Ivy (opens in a new tab) from 3PM – 9PM, which is perfect if you want to soak up some sun and house anthems. Two thousand partygoers, two rooms of music – it's a solid afternoon.
And then as the night gets a bit darker, there’s 
BLACK RAVE (opens in a new tab) at Trough X (opens in a new tab) from 8PM. This is for when you want to lose yourself a bit more, with a focus on techno and a real underground vibe. It’s intense and it's going to hit hard.
And after that, there’s not really much else on. So, take it easy, save yourself for Sunday, or just commit fully to the darkness at Trough X. Your call.
The big one
Sunday night is the absolute peak of this long weekend, with a few of the heaviest hitters going head-to-head. You’ve got 
Extra Dirty (opens in a new tab) celebrating 18 years at 
Space Nightclub (opens in a new tab), bringing back Ben Manson from Paris. If you're into fetish, leather, or just a really good, dirty house and techno set, this is where you’ll be. They kick off at 9PM and run till 3:30AM, so plenty of time to get well acquainted.
Meanwhile, the Thick 'N' Juicy (opens in a new tab) crew are back with ACTION Sydney (opens in a new tab) at Trough X (opens in a new tab), which opens at 11PM and goes right through to 7AM. This one is known for its dancefloor, its play spaces, and its general welcoming vibe for men and their queer mates. It's for when you want to really settle in for a long one. And then there's 
GAYM Entertainment (opens in a new tab) bringing DéjàVu (opens in a new tab) back to Universal Nightclub (opens in a new tab) from 10PM till 6AM. This is always a massive superclub circuit night, so expect it to be absolutely packed. That’s a lot of options, so you’ll have to make a choice – or try to do it all, I guess. Good luck with that.
