Hola Margarita! is a self-guided margarita festival traversing the best bars in Surry Hills. Participants can explore venues at their own pace, enjoying a variety of tequila cocktails from classic sips to creative twists. This multi-venue event promises an afternoon filled with flavour and fun for margarita enthusiasts. The event operates on a self-guided model. Guests begin at their chosen venue to redeem a complimentary $10 food voucher, then proceed along the trail with their margarita vouchers. An event guide and map are provided to assist with navigation, allowing attendees to explore different bars and enjoy their signature margaritas until 5pm. Participating venues include El Primo Sanchez, Forrester's, Keg & Brew, Surly's, and Tilly May's, each offering a unique signature margarita. Event vouchers and guides must be collected at Forrester's (336 Riley St, Surry Hills) on Saturday, 3rd October, between 12pm and 2pm. Tickets include 3, 4, or 5 margarita vouchers plus a $10 food voucher valid at the selected starting venue until 2pm. Pricing varies based on the number of margarita vouchers purchased. Resale options are available through Humanitix if attendees are unable to make it. Attendees are advised to bring a valid photo ID and comfortable walking shoes. No refunds are offered unless the event is cancelled or postponed by the organiser.
