Kicks Brewing
Kicks Brewing opened its first taproom in a revamped Marrickville warehouse in 2023, offering a dedicated space for its popular American IPAs and experimental brews. The venue was designed by co-founder Jess Ibbett, featuring a breezy 40-seat layout with art deco lighting, blonde timber tables, and numerous plants. The minimalist bar, adorned with black and white tiles, is where head brewer Brendan Ibbett serves a rotating selection of 10 limited-release beers. The brewery is known for its bold American IPAs, reflecting Brendan's initial passion for brewing. However, the tap list frequently changes, showcasing his ongoing experimentation with new ingredients, methods, and flavours. Patrons can also sample four beers in tasting paddles.
