The Light Brigade
The Light Brigade, located at the corner of Oxford Street and Jersey Road, is a historic pub in Woollahra that has been operating for over 140 years. It was recently acquired by Laundy Hotels and offers a multi-level experience, blending traditional pub charm with contemporary features. The venue features several distinct spaces: the ground-floor Brigade Bar, which is ideal for watching sports and enjoying classic pub meals; the Brigade Bistro on Level 1, offering a relaxed dining atmosphere with city views and Italian-inspired dishes; and the Brigade Lounge on Level 2, an Art Deco cocktail bar designed for more intimate settings with well-crafted cocktails and city vistas. The highlight is the Brigade Rooftop, situated 83 metres above sea level, providing panoramic views of the Sydney skyline. This 18+ terrace offers an open-air dining experience with a Miami pool club aesthetic, perfect for alfresco dining and drinks, especially at sunset. The menu, crafted by Group Executive Chef Jamie Gannon and Group Head Chef Grant Stevenson, includes pub favourites and daily specials.
