Jacoby's Tiki Bar
Jacoby's Tiki Bar in Enmore offers a 1950s Hawaiian resort experience, complete with banana leaf wallpaper, bamboo bar accents, and rattan ceilings. The decor also features tiki carved totems and various trinkets, including a vintage Twin Peaks board game, drawing inspiration from the character Dr. Lawrence Jacoby. The bar specialises in tiki cocktails, presented with theatrical flair in unique vessels like ceramic tiki mugs, oversized glasses, or giant shells. While the focus is on these elaborate drinks, beers, cider, bubbles, and some natural wines are also available. Guests can snack on complimentary plantain chips. Operated by the team behind Newtown's Earl's Juke Joint, Jacoby's is discreetly located behind a former Thai restaurant facade, similar to its sister venue. It aims to transport patrons to a tropical holiday setting through its immersive theme and beverage offerings.
