Greaser
Greaser is a subterranean bar located in the original cellars of The Prince Consort Hotel in Fortitude Valley. The venue offers live music, a selection of beers, and food. The space is characterised by exposed brick, graffiti-covered walls, and decor featuring rock 'n' roll imagery. It functions as a venue for local indie bands and their followers, providing a setting for live gigs and a late-night atmosphere. It's often described as a dive bar due to its gritty and raw aesthetic. Greaser hosts various live music events, particularly focusing on emerging indie artists from Brisbane. The bar aims to create an environment that combines the energy of live performances with a casual, down-to-earth vibe.
