Bingay
Bingay is a gay/drag bingo event that originated in Sydney in 1999. It features entertainment such as tunes, themed events, unique rules, penalties, and prizes. The event is hosted by Charisma Belle and Naomi Palmer. Bingay is held monthly at The Beresford Hotel in Surry Hills, Sydney. It also offers corporate event services. All funds raised through Bingay support ACON, which is NSW's leading LGBTQ+ health organisation. These contributions assist ACON in providing programs and services aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ communities and individuals living with HIV in NSW. Participants play bingo with an added element of camp and sass. Correct calls result in prizes, while incorrect calls or failure to shout 'BINGAY' may lead to a penalty.
