TROUGH MELB Ball Sports - Sat 26th Sept
Prepare for the official after-party celebration of Australia's gayest sport with TROUGH MELB's 'Ball Sports' event. Taking place on Grand Final Saturday night, this gathering celebrates the unique and cheeky side of Australian Rules Football, reimagined with a queer lens. The event playfully describes AFL as a "man-on-man ball sport" with "handsome sweaty muscular men in tight bright shorty-shorts strategically constructed to highlight the bulge." The narrative continues with a humorous and suggestive take on the game's actions, from "hands on his ball" to scoring and post-game locker-room antics, culminating in a "happiest ending to a grand gay finale." Come together and score on the dance floor as TROUGH celebrates Australia’s most gay-AF sports on Grand Final night. The event is 100% LGBTQIA+ owned and operated, promising an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere.
