Trans Social Club, Sept 11

This event is specifically for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people aged 16 and over. Organised by TGV, the Trans Social Club meets at Affirmation Station in Brunswick East, providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment to connect with peers. The group is facilitated by Jessica (she/her) and Kai (he/him), who guide conversations and activities. Attendees can expect a social activity at the start to help everyone meet and settle in, followed by opportunities to connect, play board games, or engage in arts and crafts. Light snacks are provided. Accessibility considerations include mask-wearing encouragement, onsite masks if needed, air purifiers, good ventilation, ample space for physical distancing, and wheelchair accessibility. Fidget toys and a separate quiet/calm space are also available for those who need downtime. The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly.
