Trans Life Drawing with Frances Cannon, October

This life drawing session is specifically designed for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary individuals and is strictly for those aged 18 and over. Join Frances Cannon (they/them) from Pink Ember Studio for a two-hour life drawing class. This session welcomes artists of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Frances will gently guide participants through various drawing techniques, with the lovely Georgia (they/them/she) modelling. All necessary art materials will be provided. Frances Cannon is a Naarm-based artist, specialising in painting and illustration, and also exploring silversmithing and ceramics. Their work often delves into themes of fat positivity, sexuality, gender, religion, and myth. Frances is also an experienced workshop teacher and support worker. There is a $5 refundable deposit for this session. The deposit will be refunded if you attend the session or cancel at least two days in advance. Failure to provide two days' notice or a no-show will result in the $5 charge being retained. If the deposit presents a financial barrier but you are committed to attending, please contact coordinator@tgv.org.au. Free N95 and K94 masks will be available, and wearing them is encouraged for community safety.
