The Sydney club experience, "throbb", returns after its May launch. Guests can expect a night of dancing, cruising, and playing, organised by brute.club. The event features proven tech/house DJs across multiple play spaces and a d-floor and bar. The atmosphere is described as a throbbing dance floor with a friendly, zero-attitude crowd. The venue, Trough X (formerly Trade / Headquarters), is a queer space reimagined across four levels by Melbourne’s Trough events team. The event will include additional private nooks and men-only access to the lower cruising levels. The dress code encourages attendees to wear whatever makes them feel good, including jocks, underwear, sports or fetish gear, or even to be nude. Closed footwear is required when moving through the venue. Towels, lockers, and cloakroom services are available for an additional cost. This is an 18+ event, and valid photo ID is required for entry. The venue is committed to providing a safe environment, and guests are expected to respect the event, venue, and each other. Consent is emphasised, and negative attitudes or behaviours are not welcome.
