The Winner Takes It All 💖 Maxi Shield tribute
Join us for welcome drinks at Websters Lounge Bar before moving to Dendy Cinemas for a private screening of "The Winner Takes It All", starring the iconic Maxi Shield. This event proudly presents the new 2026 Director's Cut of this local cult classic. The film is a wonderfully campy and comedic story of love and betrayal, introduced by writer, director, and producer James Dimitri, along with other cast members. Dress in fabulous, sparkly glam, and drag to honour Maxi's legacy. Following the movie, an official after-party will be held at Stonewall Newtown (Upstairs). Limited tickets are available for the after-party, which includes welcome drinks and Maxi's favourite NOSHI NOSHI pizza and chicken wings. Remember to collect your wristband at the movie screening. Maxi Shield deeply valued young queer individuals finding their place in the community. As such, profits and donations from this event will be directed to Twenty10, a charity Maxi admired for its work supporting LGBTIQA+ youth.
