The Buttery Queer Open Mic
The Buttery Music School brings its community spirit to the intimate corners of The Junk Bar for a queer-led open mic night. This session is followed by a set from one of Brissy's favourite queer bands. Bring your music, comedy, poetry, or whatever you can dream of. Whether you’re a bedroom songwriter debutant, a brand new band, or a seasoned comic testing new material, this is your stage. In the spirit of Melt Fest, expect a warm, inclusive room where everyone is welcome, and every mistake gets an applause. This is the first session in a two-part series, with the other being an all-ages (ages 12+) open mic on Sunday, 4th November.
