Suck My Disco lands at Electric for the first time, bringing a technicolour collision of serious music, questionable taste, and good times. Anticipate retro mischief alongside a contemporary club heartbeat. Attendees are encouraged to come shiny, epic, and polished – just ready to boogie. Suck My Disco is a music label and party brand established in 2022 by Lunar Disco, a DJ and producer duo consisting of husband and wife Kate Elsworth and Nicolas Blistène. The event channels the glamour, freedom, and joyful excess of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, fuelled by Lunar Disco's fascination with Hugh Hefner's legendary parties. Expect neon lights, disco decadence, pop culture, fabulous outfits, and gloriously tacky tastes. It’s an atmosphere where no one takes themselves too seriously, but the music is a focal point. The soundscape combines vintage rock, pop classics, old-school hip-hop, disco, funk, synth-wave, unexpected guilty pleasures, retro edits, and solid tech-house beats. Familiar tracks are reimagined, reworked, and brought back to the dance floor with shoulder pads, glitter, and a sense of playful abandon.
