Join us for a powerful evening honouring the anniversary of the 1978 Sydney Mardi Gras. This event celebrates community heroes and offers a chance to reflect on our shared history. Attendees will hear about what lies ahead as the 50th anniversary approaches. This milestone year will feature commemoration, pride, and a powerful collective celebration. The event takes place at The Loading Dock Theatre, located near Darlinghurst. Tickets are available for purchase online, with a booking fee applying to credit card sales. No refunds will be provided. The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras organisation acknowledges that their events occur on Aboriginal land, specifically that of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidigal, Darug, and Dharawal people. They respect Elders past and present, and extend particular acknowledgement to all LGBTQIA+SB Elders, recognising the ongoing connection to land, skies, waterways, and communities.
