South Asian Queerspace September Meet Up

South Asian Queerspace is hosting a relaxed social catch-up at the South Melbourne Market. This is a low-pressure opportunity for queer South Asians to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy community time in a casual setting. Attendees will wander through the market, grab some food and drinks, and browse the stalls. The event is peer-led, centred on lived experience, and completely free. There is no pressure or preparation required; participants just need to bring themselves and their ideas. This gathering is not a therapy session but rather focuses on real community building within a safe, judgement-free space. The organisers emphasise an inclusive atmosphere, stating "Come as you are. You belong here." Sharv, Deshna, and Ani will be leading the event. The meeting point is outside Ba Ba Rolls (Shop 10/322 Coventry St, South Melbourne) at 1pm.
