'she is' with Sacred Hearts

'She Is' is a night dedicated to queer storytelling through song, celebrating the messy, invigorating freedom of self-acceptance, calm introspection, and the joy found in queer identity and femininity. The event aims to deliver solidarity to those navigating their own journeys. Featuring performances by Sacred Hearts, gregory, and 88 Tokamak, the evening brings together diverse musical styles. Sacred Hearts, a Melbourne-based duo, explore post-punk, industrial, and shoegaze genres through a female perspective. Gregory's performance promises sugary, fuzzed-out guitars complemented by powerful, all-out vocals from frontwoman Meggan. Completing the lineup, 88 Tokamak are known for their adventurous, flowery, shoegazey bangers, often described as having patisserie-esque layering.
