Queer Traffic Light Mixer
This social gathering is designed for queer people interested in making new friends, meeting other couples, or finding a special someone. Shake off the last of the cold season and join for a big Spring party in Fitzroy. The traffic light mixer is open to all queer people of all genders, aged 18 and over, regardless of their intentions. Attendees will receive a wristband to signal their relationship status: green for single and ready to mingle, amber for 'it's complicated / open / poly', and red for those just seeking friends. There will also be an opt-in system to indicate preferences for connecting with men, women, or everyone. Friendly hosts will greet guests, facilitate warm introductions, and organise speed mingling throughout the evening. After 9 PM, the venue will remain open for those who wish to continue connecting and socialising. If speed mingling is not your preference, you can join for free anytime from this point. All attendees are asked to uphold values of respect and inclusivity within the space.
