Queer Screen - Queer Comedy Shorts
This package of short films is designed to bring queer joy, finding humour in everything from antagonistic sibling relationships and confusing first crushes to discreet Grindr profiles and beauty influencers. This hilarious collection is best enjoyed in a room full of cackling queers. Featured films include 'She Raised Me' starring Rosie O’Donnell, 'Solers United' which explores emotions within a women's soccer team, and 'Sister!' where a bimbo-coded stranger claims to be a transfemme diva's sibling. Other shorts include 'Poreless' about a queer Muslim beauty entrepreneur, 'I Hate Helen' regarding a young girl's aversion to another, 'Sunday Sauce' depicting a repressed Italian-American father's Grinder encounter, 'Egg' focusing on a trans woman's job interview, and the Australian production 'I'm the Most Racist Person I Know' about confronting internal prejudices. Tickets are available for purchase online. Concession prices are offered. Please note that a ticket fee of $0.50 and a 2.5% booking fee apply for credit card sales. No refunds will be issued.
