Queer Screen - Out & Proud Shorts
This selection of short films showcases the diversity of the LGBTIQ+ community as they overcome obstacles – both external and internal – to live their lives openly with authenticity and pride. These films represent some of the audience favourites from Queer Screen's most recent Mardi Gras Film Festival, hailing from Australia and across the globe. The programme includes short films such as 'Two Black Boys in Paradise' (UK, 9 mins), 'Kisses and Bullets' (Iran, USA, 12 mins), 'Found' (Australia, 13 mins) featuring Georgie Stone, 'Sweetheart' (UK, 18 mins), 'Tarzan Pants' (Australia, 8 mins), 'Wait, Wait, Now!' (New Zealand, 12 mins), and 'Dandelion' (USA, 20 mins). The event takes place at The Substation, located at 136 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst. Please be aware that this venue is only accessible via a narrow flight of stairs. Tickets are priced at $15.00 for general admission and $13.00 for concession. A ticket fee of $0.50 and a booking fee of 2.5% apply for credit card sales. No refunds will be issued.
