Come along and try on your crown! Explore your Drag King persona with The King Coach, Danica Lani. Step into confidence, power, and play in this joyful 3-hour Drag King workshop. Led by The King Coach, Danica Lani, you’ll explore masculine embodiment, Drag King persona creation, and connect with community in a playful, affirming space. No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to participate. Whether you’re stepping into drag for the first time or simply want to try something new, this is your chance to discover what it’s like to wear the crown. This ticket supports the ongoing work of Kings of Joy and allows us to deliver a high-quality, gender-affirming experience. For students, low-income earners, and anyone currently unwaged, a reduced-price ticket is available with no questions asked. There is also an option to Pay It Forward, supporting a fellow queer creative to attend.
