Franzi has been asleep since 1989. She fell into a coma in East Berlin and has woken to a world where the Berlin Wall has fallen, and capitalism has thrown one hell of a party. This provocative comedy explores whether she can navigate this brave new world. Fresh from critical acclaim at Adelaide Fringe, 'KAPITALISM IS YOUR FRIEND!' is a rollicking, dark comedy where political systems, the patriarchy, and David Hasselhoff collide. Dancing may be required. The show is written and performed by April Albert, with directorial eye by Janice Muller. Visuals include photography and projection design by Matto Lucas, lighting by Carla Grcic, and projection mapping/sound design by Mahi Modouris.
