This winter, keep warm by saving a cowboy and riding a Drag King! The Kings have secured the Burdekin for one night only to take over the Juni stage. Joining them are favourite DJs GK and KEAVSZ, plus KISSES & FUNLORO making their Juni debut. Kings have been a core part of queer rebellion for decades, blending cabaret, comedy, hip hop, burlesque, and masculine drag. While Queens often receive the spotlight, Kings are the underground legends and unsung trailblazers of queer nightlife, electrifying the stage with their unique performances. Junipero offers an immersive world of dancefloors for Lesbians, Queer Women, and Trans & Non-Binary People, operating with a strict no discrimination policy. Free entry is guaranteed for First Nations people attending, who can get in touch via social media or email. This event acknowledges that it takes place on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, and pays respect to Elders past, present, and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
