honeypot is celebrating its first birthday with a warehouse party for lush, untrimmed, au naturel queers. FULL BUSH marks a return to their warehouse roots with a BYO party in the Inner West. It's the beginning of spring, so attendees are encouraged to embrace full bushes and fresh growth, leaving the barren winter behind to come out into the light again. Guests are invited to bring their friends, partners, and even their gardeners. This event will feature birthday surprises. honeypot has had a successful year, hosting four parties and showcasing over 19 artists across Eora, staying true to its mission of celebrating dykes and dolls and reinvesting profits into the community. The organisers aim to continue providing queer dance spaces and plan to explore more collaborations in the coming year. The lineup includes lammi, ĪZATA, and Rydeen. lammi is known for high-energy, percussive sets blending techno, trance, electro, and hyperpop. ĪZATA, a Gadigal Land diva, delivers percussion-heavy, genre-blurring sets, with a focus on underground rave culture and fostering queer community. Rydeen is a queer producer, DJ, and radio host, having released music on labels like JUKE BOUNCE WERK and TRACKWORK. The event location is an Inner West warehouse; the precise address will be sent to ticketholders on the morning of the event. The dance floor is wheelchair-accessible, haze will be used without strobes, and seating will be available. Parties are free for First Nations attendees and trans women, who can contact @honeypotparty for an access code. All profits from the event will be paid out to the Mob Strong Mutual Aid fund.
