HEY Day Round 16: Girls, Ghouls and Gays

Youth Affairs Council Victoria brings back HEY Day for round sixteen, filling Library at the Dock for a full daylight run of discussions, sector catch-ups and grant announcements. Running from 10:30am to 4:30pm, the day pulls together queer youth, youth workers and sector allies from across Victoria to swap notes and celebrate local grassroots advocacy. Between the morning panels and catered lunch, the afternoon program splits into workshops featuring Mill O'Sullivan from Zoe Belle Gender Collective, Jen Johnson from Rainbow Health Australia, and Finn Stirling from YACVic. Spooky fits are encouraged if you feel like leaning into the season, though turning up as yourself works just as well. Registration is free for attendees aged 25 and under, with sector worker tickets running at $15. If you are still at school, YACVic can sort out a letter to smooth things over with the front office…
