Gender Diverse Connections offers a dedicated space for trans, non-binary, and gender diverse folk, and those interested in connecting with them, to socialise and foster friendship and romantic connections. Organised in partnership with DT's Hotel, this event aims to provide an inclusive environment for community members. From 6 PM to 8 PM, participants can engage in various activities including board and card games, crafting, or simply chat in a relaxed setting. For those seeking structured interactions, an hour of speed mingling will be held in the beer garden from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Wristbands will be available to help signal intentions, whether seeking friendship or flirtation. The event is open to all transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse individuals, as well as cis men and women who wish to connect with them. All attendees must be 18 years or older. The event will be hosted by two mental health professionals who will assist with introductions and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Attendees are asked to uphold values of respect and inclusivity. After 8 PM, DT's Hotel will open to the public for TRANS&DANCE, offering free entry for continued socialising. Tickets for Gender Diverse Connections are $10.
