Extra Dirty's Winter Edition is set to go extra early, running from 4pm to 10.30pm. This event aims to beat the winter chill, rolling day into night with driving techno and dirty house music. The Extra Dirty crowd typically leans towards queer, gay, leather, and fetish communities, but it's not confined to one specific clique. All genders are welcome, all bodies are celebrated, and all aesthetics are given equal space. Homophobia, transphobia, heterophobia, racism, and sexism are not tolerated. Extra Dirty was established in Sydney's queer underground scene in 2008. The event will feature favourite Extra Dirty resident DJs and special guests, with sound by Eric Lui and Graeme Petrie, and lighting/lasers by Eric Lui and Man Lie. The event will be held at Space Nightclub, located on Level 2, 127 Liverpool St (above The Shark Hotel). Space is one of Sydney's larger venues, boasting a 1000-person capacity across two rooms, each equipped with superior sound and lighting. There's also a smoking area on the veranda, two bars, and friendly staff and security. The venue has been Extra Dirty's home since 2020. Wheelchair users or those with mobility difficulties can arrange lift access by speaking to security upon arrival.
