Drunk Substitute (Single Launch) w/ Lesbian Vampire Cult + SCREAMagers

Drunk Substitute are launching their fresh single on the Fitzroy band room circuit, bringing their mix of clean chords, shoegaze-soaked distortion, and big hooks up front. Formed out of Melbourne's inner suburbs, the five-piece run through soft vocal harmonies before kicking the heavy pedal, which usually tells you exactly where the night is headed. The bill gets heavier and cheekier with Lesbian Vampire Cult and SCREAMagers opening proceedings. If you appreciate noisy guitars, local grit, and a sweatier Friday session, this is your ticket. Doors open from 8:30 pm at Bar Open on Brunswick Street. Standard entry is an easy $15.30, and it is strictly an 18-plus affair.
