DRAGAROUND - NEWTOWN Edition
Sydney’s first-ever daytime drag pub crawl, DRAGAROUND, is here! On Saturday, 29th August, from 1:30pm to 7:00pm, you’ll join a rotating crawl through five iconic Newtown venues, each hosting a unique drag performance. By the end of the day, you’ll have seen all four drag performers slay the stage, and it’s up to you to decide who takes home the crown and a $2,000 prize. The event features five venues: The Bank Hotel, The Marly, Newtown Hotel, Stonewall Newtown, and Imperial. Four drag artists will be announced soon. This isn't just a pub crawl; it's a love letter to drag, celebrating community and offering daytime fun like never before. Participants will enjoy one drink on arrival with their ticket. Tickets are all the same price, with the colour simply indicating your group's starting venue. Every group will rotate through all four venues and enjoy all four performances. If you are attending with friends, ensure everyone buys the same colour ticket to stay together. Those attending solo will meet plenty of fellow drag art enthusiasts. This event is strictly for ages 18+. Some venues are not wheelchair accessible. Most of the walking between venues is undercover, ensuring the event goes ahead rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to eat beforehand as it's a fast-paced day. All venues are fully licensed, and RSA rules apply.
