DRAGAROUND - Fall Edition
DRAGAROUND is Sydney's first-ever daytime drag pub crawl. On Saturday, May 9th, from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM, participants will join a rotating crawl through five venues: Beresford, Burdekin, Colombian, Oxford Hotel, and Universal. Each venue will host a unique drag performance by the four participating artists: Fairah Nuff, Sia Tequila, Magnus Opium, and Faux Fur. By the end of the event, attendees will have seen all four performers and will vote to decide who takes home a $2,000 prize. The event involves five venues on Oxford Street and approximately 1.5 km of walking. Tickets are color-coded, determining the starting venue for each group, but all groups will rotate through all four performance venues to see every artist. A ticket includes one welcome drink. Participants are encouraged to wear something matching their ticket color if attending with friends to stay together. DRAGAROUND aims to celebrate drag and foster community, offering a daytime entertainment experience. The event is strictly for ages 18 and older, with RSA rules applied by the venues. It is described as a safe and fabulous space for allies and the LGBTQIA+ community. Some venues may not be wheelchair accessible. The event will be photographed and filmed for promotional purposes. Latecomers can join, but only those checking in at the first venue receive a finale voting token.
