Come along to the Girl Meet Girl Sapphic Social Picnic to meet fellow queer people in the community! If you identify as a (cis or trans) woman, non-binary, or queer and are open to meeting new (sapphic) folks in a romantic or non-romantic way, this social picnic is a fun and relaxed way to connect without needing to use a dating app. Our picnics are scheduled for one hour to encourage everyone to arrive within the first 10-15 minutes, creating an engaging atmosphere from the start. However, they often continue longer if the vibe feels right. Please bring a snack to share, non-alcoholic drinks, and any outdoor games you’d enjoy playing on the grass. The GMG Ambassador will welcome you and guide you through some fun ice-breaker questions. These picnics are designed to feel low pressure and supportive, especially for those who experience social anxiety, with no expectation to participate beyond what feels comfortable. The space is lightly facilitated, so arriving on time or within the first 10 minutes helps maintain flow. Our picnics are strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and pet dogs are not able to attend (only registered therapy and guide dogs are permitted). This is a free event, and RSVPing helps our Ambassadors get a general sense of expected numbers.
