Big Gay Piano Bar proudly presents Gender Swap Broadway, a special themed performance night celebrating musical theatre songs. These beloved songs will be performed by artists who would not typically be cast in those roles, adding a unique twist to favourite show tunes. The event takes place in the warm and intimate setting of Gingers, featuring a curated lineup of singers accompanied live on piano by John Milligan. The performances will include a range of musical theatre styles, from classic ballads to contemporary belters. This night is an extension of the Big Gay Piano Bar experience, focusing more on performance and community. It provides a welcoming and joyful atmosphere centred around live music, encouraging queer/LGBTQIA+ performers while warmly inviting allies both on and off stage. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with performances running from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The evening will consist of two halves of Gender Swap Broadway, followed by the Big Gay Piano Bar featuring John Milligan and Erin Clare. Limited performer spots are available for those interested in participating.
