Après Gras

Après Gras is a new winter fundraiser event presented by Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. It takes over The Beresford for a day-to-night wintery après-ski party during Pride Month. The event features a mix of Mardi Gras favourites, DJ legends, and new faces. Special guest performances include Marcia Hines and Brendan Maclean from VELVET INFERNO, Julian Hamilton from The Presets (DJ set), and SUPER DISCO CLUB. The theme is "Après-ski meets Rave", with a dress code encouraging ski suits, retro snow gear, après-ski glam, queer fantasy, camp, chaos, and sparkle. Prizes will be awarded for best-dressed individuals, duos, and trios. The day can be spent in the courtyard enjoying drinks and DJs, before the party continues after dark in the Upstairs area. The event promises a hot crowd, with no actual skiing required.
