More than just an entertaining night, altimate.SHOWDOWN fosters community bonding and delivers queer chaotic joy. This September and October, performers from various underground disciplines, including Drag, Burlesque, Sideshow, Comedy, Music, Performance Art, and Dance, will compete for the title of Champion and a prize pack valued at over $10K, including $4.5K in cash. Heats will take place on Thursdays at The Brightside in Fortitude Valley, hosted and judged by local fringe entertainment legends. Your vote is crucial, as one performer each night will advance directly to the Grand Final by audience vote. The Grand Final is scheduled for 29 October.
