This production is a series of vignettes that sweep across time and space, tethered to each other by the bond of soulmates. The play charts the journey of two cosmically-connected souls, exploring the heat and immediacy of theatrical intimacy, and the desperate human drive to connect through language. Starring Callum O'Mara and Wheeler Maurer, this new gay comedy is written and directed by Jake Stewart. Stewart is known for works such as 'Pride & Prejudicks', 'Pornographillip', 'Who's Afraid of Vagina Wolves?', ‘David’, ‘Pinocchio’, 'Beauty and The Beast', and 'Hyacinth'. Kissing Booth's work, headed by Jake Stewart and Wheeler Maurer, fixates on the significance of love, the state of Australian masculinity, and the amorphous notion of contemporary gayness. The play contains coarse language, themes of homosexuality, nudity, and adult themes. The event takes place at The Substation at 136 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst. Please note that this venue is only accessible via a narrow flight of stairs. Ticket prices range from $30.00 to $35.00, plus booking fees. No refunds are available.
