The Meanjin Queer Art Showcase aims to platform queer arts practitioners of all disciplines within the Meanjin area during Brisbane Pride. This event seeks to foster a sense of intersectional queer community. Fifty percent of the profit from this event will be donated to Open Doors Youth Service, which is Queensland's only LGBTQIASB+ youth charity. This event is strictly 18+. As the venue is licensed, guests without valid identification will be denied entry, even with a ticket. Artworks may contain nudity or sexual content and themes. Other content warnings are to be determined, and attendees are advised to use their discretion when attending. The majority of the showcase will be held upstairs at Season 3. Unfortunately, the venue requires climbing a staircase as there is no elevator, limiting accessibility for some.
